Blame it on my love of autumn leaves and a good passeggiata, but when the fall colours are at their brightest, all I want to do is go for a nice long stroll in a good outfit.
So this past weekend, Jonah and I took a drive out to Cabbagetown, just a bit east of where we are now, to soak in the colours and explore somewhere different. Truthfully, it was my first time in the neighbourhood but I think I’ve fallen in love with it. From the historic red brick buildings, to the quaint townhomes and hidden lanes, I may have found my new favourite Toronto ‘hood.
I was so lucky to find this pre-loved Acne Studios jacket at VSP Consignment (if you haven’t been, you should), and was so excited to finally have a brisk enough day to wear it. It’s a super cozy wool in a rich navy blue hue, perfect for late fall and early winter in the city.
The boots are old favourites from Vagabond, which go with quite possibly everything, including this classic vintage Coach bag I picked up at a vintage market with my mom a few years ago. Black sweater is from Sézane and is the absolute coziest. Jeans are the most perfect white denim from Everlane. Their cheeky straight fit is just so good, and we all know the “no white after Labour Day” rule is fake anyways.
Here’s hoping for more of these crisp autumn days and walks in new neighbourhoods.
